We are the future

PinBina born in Switzerland, is surrounded by nature, mountains, lakes, farms, and cities.

Our international team has extensive experience in designing and producing children's clothing. As parents and grandparents ourselves, we understand what active kids want and need. We have been through years of watching our kids run, jump, ski, fall, and get back up again. We would be delighted if you become part of our sustainable children's clothing movement.

Together, we can make a positive change in the sport-fashion industry and create a better future for our children and our planet.

We are responsible

We exclusively use high-quality and technical materials to ensure that our clothing meets the highest stand-ards. We prioritize fabrics made from recycled synthetic blends or natural fibers. Wherever possible, we engage in upcycling by making use of fabric remnants that would otherwise go unused by our manufacturers.

By using membranes based on recycled TPU (Thermo-plastic Polyurethan) we decrease our dependence on virgin petroleum further without sacrificing durability or weather-resistant performance of our garments. Our clothing is multifunctional, providing children with comfort and durability, allowing them to feel at ease in all weather conditions throughout the day. With our strong focus on quality and durability our garments can and should be passed down from child to child.

We place great emphasis on ensuring transparency in every step of our clothing production, so that end consumers know where the garments were made. We place a strong emphasis on ethical production and work closely with renowned manufacturers. This ensures that fair working conditions are upheld and the environmental impact of production is minimized.

With PinBina, we aim to encourage parents to make conscious purchasing decisions and choose sustainable and functional fashion. By supporting our children's clothing, you contribute to reducing environmental impact while offering high-quality clothing to your chil-dren. The garments are designed to be worn for an extended period while maintaining their quality, technicity and shape. This promotes conscious consumption and reduces the need for frequent replacements.

We are on a mission

We primarily utilize recycled materials and strive to conscientiously integrate fabric remnants into our collection, demonstrating our dedicated commitment to textile upcycling. It's worth noting that the world produces a substantial 92 million tons of textile waste each year, with a notable proportion being pre-consumer waste, including scraps and remnants from the garment manufacturing process. Unfortunately, a significant portion of this textile industry waste ultimately finds its way to landfills. Our upcycling approach prevents these remnants from ending up as waste and being potentially destroyed. By breathing new life into these textile scraps, we reduce waste and contribute to a more sustainable and environmentally conscious approach to fashion. Our creative process transforms these textile remnants into unique, high-quality products, highlighting the beauty of upcycled materials. This not only benefits the environment but also allows us to offer our customers one-of-a-kind, eco-friendly products. We firmly believe that every scrap holds the potential to become a masterpiece, and we take pride in being a part of the upcycling movement, turning textile waste into fashion innovation. We are not only dedicated to providing high-quality children’s clothing, but also securing a sustainable future for our planet.

We are sustainable

Synthetic Fabrics

Our commitment to sustainability shines through in our choice of materials and manufacturing processes. Our polyester fabrics are meticulously crafted from recycled yarn, ensuring both quality and eco-friendliness. Embracing a responsible approach, we proudly hold GRS and TC certificates for all our fabrics, underlining their recycled origin. When it comes to our waterproof and breathable textiles, we integrate recycled TPU film-based membranes. This innovative use of materials not only delivers top-notch performance but also underscores our dedication to utilizing recycled resources. In our pursuit of eco-conscious solutions, all our water-repellent finishes are derived from a c0 approach, which means they are PFC-free. This conscious choice safeguards the environment while maintaining the superior functionality of our products.

Paddings

Padding, another essential aspect of our products, aligns seamlessly with our sustainable ethos. We meticulously employ recycled fibers for all our padding, proudly holding GRS and TC certifications. Our commitment extends beyond material choices; we strategically source our paddings locally in Bangladesh, significantly curbing transport emissions. This approach not only minimizes our carbon footprint but also emphasizes our dedication to responsible manufacturing practices. After all, avoiding the unnecessary transportation of bulky padding across vast distances is a small yet impactful step towards a greener future.

Styling

Crafting garments that stand the test of time begins with meticulous design and material selection. Consider the following examples: Our commitment to durability is evident in our choice of robust fabrics, and we use only the finest core spun sewing thread to ensure longevity. This approach not only extends the life of each garment, but also enables it to be passed down to younger siblings or friends. Recognizing that tastes differ among children, we've introduced the concept of interchangeable badges on our garments. Additionally, our innovative LL-System (Leg-Lengthening System) allows for longer wear by simply removing a red thread to extend the pant legs, thereby ensuring that your skipants or overalls remain a perfect fit for an extra year. In the realm of material selection, we prioritize creating mono-material garments whenever possible. For outerwear, our focus is on selecting (recycled) polyester materials, which enhances recyclability and bolsters our commitment to sustainable practices.

Factory

Our esteemed outerwear collection is meticulously crafted at 4A in Dhaka, a factory deeply entrenched in sustainability. Notably, 4A became the pioneering Asian factory to align with the "UN Fashion Industry Charter for Climate Action," illustrating its unwavering commitment to environmental stewardship. A remarkable achievement for 4A is its LEED platinum certification, the pinnacle of building ratings. LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is the world's most widely used green building rating system, with an array of ambitious goals, including mitigating global climate impact, safeguarding human health, preserving water resources, nurturing biodiversity and ecosystems, promoting sustainable material cycles, and enriching community quality of life. Presently, the factory harnesses 25% of its energy from solar power, with plans to elevate this to 50% by year's end. 4A exclusively manufactures for reputable brands and rigorously adheres to all compliance standards. Beyond this, the factory provides comprehensive medical support through in-house doctors and nurses, and operates a fair-price shop that offers subsidized daily essentials. Furthermore, 4A actively creates employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities, fostering inclusivity and social responsibility. In summary, our approach to sustainability encompasses every facet of our products, from design and materials to responsible manufacturing practices. Through innovative systems and a conscientious factory partnership, we aspire to elevate the longevity, quality, and ethical footprint of our garments.
